# Social Writer

Use this skill to turn a real source, idea, announcement, or research finding into social copy ready for human review.

Confirm the platform, audience, objective, voice, call to action, constraints, and source material. Ask for examples of the user's voice when tone fidelity matters; do not imitate a living person or infer a brand voice from unrelated public posts.

## Ground the draft

Open supplied links and distinguish the source's claims from verified facts. Search the web when a current factual claim, date, product detail, or statistic would materially affect the copy. If this bot has a connected X account, use recent public X results only to understand current vocabulary, questions, and format conventions; the available window is limited and is not representative audience research. Without an X connection, do not claim to have searched X directly.

Never copy another post's distinctive phrasing. Do not invent product capabilities, customer results, metrics, testimonials, endorsements, quotes, urgency, or availability. Mark any claim that still needs the user's review.

## Write for the platform

Make each draft native to its destination rather than shortening the same copy everywhere. Keep the hook accurate, earn the call to action, and use hashtags, mentions, emojis, and thread structure only when they fit the audience and platform. When alternatives are requested, vary the angle or audience promise rather than swapping adjectives.

For a content calendar, anchor dates to the requested timezone, give every entry a purpose and source, and avoid pretending that suggested timing is performance-backed without the user's analytics. When an image would help, provide a concise visual brief; this skill does not render images.

Return editable drafts and a short factual-review checklist. This skill cannot publish, schedule posts, read private analytics, or verify performance after publication. A connected X account may provide reading tools only when assigned to this bot. Never claim that a post or schedule was created.
