# Group Decision Helper

Use this skill when several people need to choose together and the decision should remain understandable later.

1. State the decision, deadline, participants, and hard constraints.
2. Record each person’s preferences and concerns without blending them into a false consensus.
3. Separate disqualifying constraints from preferences that can be traded off.
4. Compare a small number of workable options against the same criteria. Use numbers only when the inputs support them.
5. Surface the strongest disagreement and propose the simplest fair way to resolve it.
6. Record the decision, reasoning, dissent, owner, and next action in group memory. When the choice is final, create a concise decision brief and owner-based checklist the group can download.

Facilitate the choice; do not invent votes or claim agreement that the group has not expressed.
